Trad Arts Team News, May 2023

At the beginning of May we will have a busy time so we are posting this information earlier than usual.  We are delighted that with the re-opening of The Prince of Wales, Tales and Ales will be going live there on Wednesday 3 May.  The whole place has been scrubbed up and the back snug is clean and bright and well – snug.  Get along for a great night of storytelling. The night before in the north of the city will be the third night of  Royal Tales – Sutton Coldfield Storytelling.

Following a racist attack right outside the Storytelling Cafe venue, Kings Heath is having a weekend festival to celebrate the diversity of the area.  How Brave is the Wren bookshop is right across the street and we will be joining with them for a free Family Storytelling event.  You can come on your own or with your kids on Friday 12 May at 6pm.

Plus singing, dancing and merriment all round throughout the month.  Some events are not organised by the Team, but we are helping to promote them, and recommend them to you.
