Zoom in on Tales and Ales

Category: Storytelling

Due to coronavirus and the need for social distancing, all our events will need to take place online.  Look out for emails giving you the login details.

Sharing and listening to stories with a drink in your hand is an entertainment and relaxation that William Shakespeare would have known and probably taken part in. In his plays he often took lines from folk tales.

Tales and Ales at the Prince of Wales takes place in the Snug a few steps away from the bar where there is a splendid selection of ales and ciders. The beer is good but the stories are better. There is usually a mix of experienced and novice tellers telling traditional stories re-worked to make them their own. There can be no better way to relax and no better way to be transported to the realms of the imagination.

There is no charge though you might like to make a donation. After the first pint you may feel as if you want to tell a story, in which case you will be quite welcome.
