Who is the UASB Art Market for?
The Art Market is intended as a showcase and selling opportunity for the many artists living in and around the Kings Heath and wider South Birmingham area. All 2D and 3D artforms are welcome, including painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, drawing, printing etc. The Market will be curated to feature a combination of artists and makers. We are seeking to show a varied balance of artforms and styles at the market, so may not always be able to accommodate your work on a particular occasion but will keep your details for future market dates.
We welcome and encourage new and emerging artists of all ages to participate. We also encourage artists to share stalls to help get them started. The best thing to do is relax and enjoy the market. There is very little that can go wrong.
The Market is open in the afternoon from 12:00 till 4:00 on the third Saturday of the month. Stallholder have access from 11:15 via the rear car park – entrance in Vicarage Road
The stallholders fee is £14. The market is free to the public.

- You can lay your work flat or you might want a stand to support it. If your work is delicate make sure it is secure.

Identify yourself
Some people leave their business cards on their table, others have a little sign saying who they are.
Payment
There are people who already live a cashless life, so at some point you may decide you need a card reader. Wifi is available in the hall and there is a good phone signal. It is a good idea to have a float of cash so that you can give change. There are a number of cashpoints nearby.
Pricing
You may be uncomfortable with pricing their work too high or too low. Start with what feels comfortable to you.
Get-out
The market is run by a small group of volunteers so we ask for your help clearing the room and returning your table before you leave.
