As people head for the hills or the beaches or the festivals, many local events are set aside as we all enjoy ourselves elsewhere. However there is still stuff going on, so do join us if you are around.
Sunday 3 August, 3-6pm
Erdington Slow Session
St Thomas Association, 31a Station Road, Erdington, B23 6UB
English, Irish and Scottish standard session tunes at a steady pace
For links to the music, email erdingtonslowsession@gmail.com
Saturday 16 August, noon to 4pm (in conjunction with United Artists of South Birmingham)
Kings Heath Art Market
All Saints Centre, Vicarage Road, Kings Heath, B14 7RA
A series of monthly celebrations of local talent and a platform for artists to showcase their unique work, with music from the Mad Moll Band and refreshments on sale. For more info or to book a stall, email Graham Langley.
There won’t be an Art Market in September because many of our artists will be taking part in Birmingham Open Studios. You can see all of your favourite local artists and more at the Open Studios website.
