Trad Arts Team News, November 2023

As Winter begins storming in there’s nothing better to warm the cockles of your heart than a sociable folky session with friends sharing similar tastes and sense of enjoyment.  Whether it is music, dance or storytelling, join us for a lively get-together to avoid the winter blues.

Storytelling Gymnasium has been led by storyteller Graham Langley for many years.  This included two monthly Zoom sessions during the period of lockdown which were very successful.  Relaunching since lockdown though has proved to be difficult, so we are replacing regular sessions with occasional sessions on request.  These sessions may be small group sessions or one-to-one with the content decided by the participants in advance.  Such content may include rehearsals, repertoire development, technique or anything else concerned with the development of performance and presentation of traditional stories.  Sessions can be tailored to absolute beginners or experienced performers.  Email Graham for more information or to arrange a session.  There will be no fixed fee, just a donation to the Trad Arts Team through our Tip-Jar
