Summertime is a slow time for us and a time to head off to the hills so things are pretty quiet. Banner Theatre is one of the longest running theatre companies in Birmingham. They were formed in 1972 out of the Grey Cock Folk Club that ran from pubs in the city centre. Banner’s latest show about protecting the NHS from big business predators is being presented by Birmingham Trades Council at the end of July. We have included September dates to give you a bit of advance notice!
Saturday 29 July, 7pm in conjunction with Birmingham Trades Council and KONP (Keep Our NHS Public)
Banner Theatre presents Enough Is Enough, celebrating 75 years of the NHS, those who fought for it, and the fightback to defend it from cuts, closures, wage freezes and privatisation. Speakers include Dr Bob Gill and Dr Ammar Waraich
